About Me

kimberleyangleseyBorn in San Francisco, Kimberley Anglesey’s youth was spent a barefoot waif on the beaches of California and there she developed her love of the sea.In the custom of the Seanchaí, Kimberley’s Irish grandmother taught her to love stories of the forgotten past, filled with legend and folklore, mythology and fantasy. Reading and writing have been a lifelong passion. Striving earnestly to spin a good yarn and carry on the family tradition, she often writes into the wee hours of the night.

Kimberley is a photographer and avid nature lover, having grown up with an assortment of unusual pets. Her fondest memories include owls, hawks, opossums, racoons, bats, snakes, rats, and the traditional cats and dogs. She loves to garden and goes out of her way to be kind to the tiniest creatures. When it rains she rescue earthworms from the concrete and does her best to catch and release bugs that find their way into her house. If you would like to see some of Kimberley’s photographs, they are for sale on Shutterstock. You’ll find more than a few creepy crawly things in her gallery.

Grateful for the beauty and wide open spaces, Kimberley has loved living in Idaho with her family, and a spoiled dog, for over fifteen years. She often spends time camping and enjoying the recreation opportunities available year round. When it’s too cold for being outside, she curls up on the couch with a good book in front of the fireplace.
